Pensionable Age

The age at which an individual becomes entitled to the Basic State Pension, currently 60 for women and 65 for men. Between 2010 and 2020, the state pensionable age for women will increase in stages, so that by 2020, it will be 65 for everyone.

Pensionable age is not 'retirement age'. There is no official retirement age, but employers may currently set normal retirement ages for employees.
